A randomly generated vault ID stored locally on your device to identify your memory vault.How We Use Your InformationYour journal entries and personal name are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to any external server. Vault memories submitted via your shared link are stored in a secure cloud database in order to enable cross-device sharing. We do not sell, share, or rent your personal information to any third party. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.Location DataGood Grief requests access to your device location solely to display your city and region on journal entries. Location data is not stored on any external server and is not shared with any third party.Data Storage and SecurityJournal entries and personal settings are stored locally on your device. Vault memories are stored securely using a third party database provider.
